Using Doxygen

Interesting package Doxygen. Unfortunately, I wish I could recommend it, for the casual user. However, I cannot. FYI

= However, unless, you really are far more determined than I was, two years ago. It tends to be too complicated to apply. Why?

  • It rather assumes you know LaTeX. My academic career taught this, to me. Not a problem.
  • However, the number of macro expansions, rules, way to enter & trigger the rules, and "learning" the way to co-write your source file with Doxygen. A bit involved.
  • Too involved for me, even with a month to train, get up to speed, and then rush into development.
  • There are great tutorials & the best way to learn, is copy the open similar projects, find a good template you like, and clone it.
  • However, (a mere) one worded name, for a project such as this, doesn't fully explain, the degree of understanding, you'll need to productively use it.

= Otherwise, I certainly endorse it. Just wanted to warn you. Be prepared to spend some considerable time training. Unless, you really already are a LaTeX \GuRu!!!
