Google's Clean Frontpage

Google understands something, so few companies do. Look at their search engine, look at the front page, the infamous www.google.com.

What do you see? No ads, no 10 meg collection of Picture art, a minimal copyright notice.

Does msnsearch do this? aka www.live.com Does Yahoo do this? No.

Will this change, in the future? Quite possibly. Marissa Mayer may be leaving Google (soon?), as their Vice-President of Search Product and User Experience. Once, the "Marketing people" start telling Google how to run itself. Google will start to blow - from it's best value to lesser value. My prediction. Hope, it doesn't happen for another 10 years.

As the Gatekeeper to Google. She has been our hero, for years.

Google Offers the “Cleanest” Search Experience
Google is famous for its Spartan home page. It continues this minimalist approach to search with the cleanest results page.
